Essential Responsibilities & Requirements


NuView is seeking an energetic experienced Payroll Implementation Consultant with strong Payroll and Human Resource experience to join our Client Project team.  Working closely with NuView Project Manager, responsible for implementation of NuViews’ HRIS product suite (HR & Benefits Administration, Self-Service, Recruiting, Compensation, Training, Performance Management, Succession, Time Entry, Reporting, Metrics and Payroll).  Individual must be highly motivated and self-driven with a high level of integrity and a great customer service attitude.  Diligence and honesty related to all communications and billable services for our clients is very important. 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Client Meetings
    • Preparation and communication to PM for client status meeting
    • Consult with client and internal teams around best practice to meet client objective.
  • Implementation Configuration
    • Provide basic guidance in the design and development of system parameters for configuration
    • Analyze client requirements and consult with internal project team, development, or SME where appropriate to identify best solution.
    • Consulting around all NuView Modules and set up.
    • Implement Standard Security Roles
    • Manage specific action items
    • Testing of customizations before delivery to client.
  • Documentation Responsibilities
    • Create functional specifications for client customizations, with guidance
    • Review functional specifications with development team.
    • Create detailed test scripts for major process workflows including client specific customizations/modifications that are critical to their working environment
    • Update NS billing milestones as work is completed.
  • Communication Responsibilities
    • Maintain regular communications regarding project issues, risks, and needs with Project Manager.
    • Classify problems as system, training, or process and recommend appropriate resolution path to the Project Manager when necessary
    • Identify and implement solutions in cooperation with other team members, end-users and customers
    • Good verbal and written communication with clients, both internal and external.
    • Ability to manage client expectations and proactively communicate potential risk.
    • Miscellaneous Responsibilities
    • Participate in new module implementation
    • Participate in release testing

Required Skills

  • Expertise in system configuration for an accurate and organized implementation
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand technology
  • Must have ability to effectively identify and understand a client's needs and requirements, provide recommendations, and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Meet client goals and objective by listening to the client needs, understanding client processes, and providing best practice solutions. 
  • Excellent learning, listening, communication, and time management skills required.
  • Longevity and a commitment to the team and our customers is a must.
  • Experience developing functional specification documentation
  • Overnight Travel-35%

Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 
    • Minimum 5 years implementation experience of HR and Payroll applications.
    • Experience working with other HR/Payroll software systems such as ADP, Paychex, Cerdian, or similar a plus!
    • Experience with client/server, Internet, Intranet, PC-based software and SQL/HTML.
    • Working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook required.
    • CPP, SPHR or PHR Certification preferred but not required.
